San Jose Mercury News Reporter Gary Webb claims that supporters of the Contras, an anti-Communist Nicaraguan group funded by the CIA, smuggled cocaine into the United States to raise money for their cause.
Senator John Kerry (D-MA) claims CIA “complicity” regarding the trading, and that there was use of U.S. military planes to ship the cocaine.
Webb’s apparent suicide, long after the filing of this video report, involved two gunshot wounds to the head from a non-automatic handgun. This detail would make it the topic of rampant speculation.
