Anti-globalization protests in Quebec and at the IMF are complaining that the global financial organizations aren’t here to help the poor; they’re here to crush them.
Those protesters know that the leaders of the IMF and the World Bank are the chiefs of a secret, undemocratic world government that has made poverty worse worldwide.
James Wolfensohn, the World Bank president, lied and claimed that he was unfamiliar with those accusations. He said he’s proud of the record of the bank.
But that’s not what the insiders say.
