McConnell was attending the ‘Fancy Farm,’ when the crowd drowned out his speech with incessant booing, and chants telling him to ‘retire.’ Videos of the booing went viral on social media.
The 81-year-old senator recently made headlines when he froze mid-sentence while speaking in the Capitol, prompting fears over his health, and fitness for office. This ‘Mitch Glitch’ has highlighted the declining state of many of America’s most senior politicians, who somehow get reelected every term despite none of the voters actually wanting them. Funny, that.
