This is the trailer for ‘An Open Secret’ is a documentary about the seemingly never-ending string of managers, fixers, publicists and agents who extract underage sex with promises of wealth and stardom.
The film pays particular attention to a now-defunct company called Digital Entertainment Network, or DEN. During the dot-com boom, DEN became a pioneer in Web advertising, making powerful corporate allies with clients like Pepsi, Ford, Microsoft and Dell. According to the documentary, DEN’s California mansion hosted lavish parties, at which Tinseltown’s perverts could take drugs and have sex with children.
The producers of ‘An Open Secret’ say all profits from the film will go to charities that support victims of sexual abuse.
