From the selectivity of the leaks from this largest of strategic data dumps in all history, it is pretty clear to anyone with any ability to distinguish anything that the Anglosphere is notably absent and unimplicated by the mega-shaming Panama Papers. James Corbett calls this “patently ridiculous.”
We know that all of the corrupt elites worldwide engage in offshore banking, so why don’t we see mention of just one transnational corporation or just one Wall Street bankster – or even one of the thousands of denizens of the US Government, currently profiting from every kind of kickback imaginable, including the trafficking of Afghan heroin, that’s led to the skyrocketing of US heroin overdoses?
Because the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) tasked with releasing this information (that you and I will never get to see for ourselves) is funded and directed, almost in its entirety by the US-based Center for Public Integrity, which, in turn is funded by such organizations as the Ford Foundation, Carnegie Endowment, Rockefeller Family Fund, WK Kellogg Foundation and the Open Society Foundation (Georg Soros).
As Craig Murray, former British Ambassador to Uzbekistan writes in his article, Corporate Media Gatekeepers Protect Western 1% From Panama Leak:
“Do not expect a genuine expose…The dirty secrets of western corporations will remain unpublished.”
We shall see. MSNBC reported that we could expect to see some big American names to come out soon…
Just learned that all the Offshore corporations that the Panamanian firm Mossack & Fonseca established were established in Delaware, Nevada, Virgin Islands, and other places but Panama and their banking in other parts of the world but Panama. Would be ineresting to know why they didn’t create them in Panama and/or why didn’t they use Panamanian Banks. If the law firm Mossack & Fonseca did anything wrong they must be punished but not smear that country. I think you’re right about what their real intentions are.

https://www.stormfront.org/forum/t791239/ This kind of expose has happened before – it’s as you said -watch who benefits.
Outstanding geopolitical entertainment …
The west bashing the east. So what else is new?
1. Not one Offshore Company mentioned in Panama Papers is from Panama.
2. What the Offshore company does is not the responsibility of the law firm that creates the Offshore
3. The U.S. banking system does not share information on accounts opened in the U.S. by foreigners but want Panama to share info. on accounts opened in Panama by foreigners. That way people will deposit their monies in U.S. banks and not in Panamanian banks thus gaining a competitive edge sucking funds from Panamanian to U.S. Banks.
we in malta have two persons -PEP that have been caught to have invested in panama and virgin islands after they dealt 8 great deals like a power station being sold to the chinese and others . One of them is the ONLY minister of european union . Malta is in turmoil and have asked both to resign but none of them wishes to . Shame on political members of parlament in Malta .
Every one of these trade deals have supported Globalization so the rich elites around the world could hide their money without paying taxes…DELAWARE is a tax haven for drug launderers, and banks and others…obviously the rich didn’t “count” on Delaware to keep their vile secrets, so they set this International Crime Syndicate in Panama. We need to stop blaming just the nations already named we need to SEE the AMERICAN names.
Hilary Clinton was pushing this deal and Bernie Sanders on the floor vehemently rejected it…a youtube of him on the floor calling this for what it is: an Internaional Crime Syndicate. I cant wait to see the Clintons, Bush, Romney and other 1% of the billionaire class in the US names on the list…this should be treated as a RICO suit and all of them prosecuted and jailed.
