If one man had not bothered to capture this incredible happening, few would have known about it. But this footage is a tribute to the people on the beach that day who kept these dolphins from suffering a terrible fate, away from their homes in the water.
This is a rare event because usually dolphins are able to fight off the terribly strong current that stranded them here. Another complicating factor was the wet sand, on which they could get no traction.
Dragged back into the sea through the teamwork of random bystanders, the dolphins made their way back out, and the people cheered.
