The Army Times reports that troubling new data has revealed that there are an average of 950 suicides each month by veterans that are receiving some type of treatment from Veterans Affairs.
Seven percent of the attempts are successful. Eleven percent of those who don’t succeed at first just keep trying.
Suicide attempts by Iraq and Afghanistan veterans remains a key area of concern.
