    Rob Legato worked on a the film “Apollo 13” and in the process got more understanding of how our brains work.

    Legato did an experiment in which he did an experiment with stock footage to see what was memorable about historic Apollo footage. Legato discovered that there was an emotion built into the memory of what the Apollo missions meant to people.

    Focus group respondents indicated that people didn’t want to have replicated what they saw, but what they remembered.
