Merrick Garland earlier today responded to people’s reactions to the release of massively incriminating information by the House Ways and Means Committee, complaining that accusations that the DOJ does not treat all cases alike constitute an attack on an institution that is essential to American democracy and that “nothing could be further from the truth.”
