Google is changing its content rules in anticipation of a “sensitive event” happening from February onwards. Earlier this week, Google Ads sent an email to their advertisers telling them, in part:

“In February 2024, Google will update the Inappropriate content policy to clarify the definition of Sensitive events

“A ‘Sensitive Event’ is an unforeseen event or development that creates significant risk to Google’s ability to provide high quality, relevant information and ground truth and reduce insensitive or exploitative content in prominent and monetized features

“During a sensitive event, we may take a variety of actions to address these risks. Examples of Sensitive events include events with significant social, cultural or political impact, such as civil emergencies, natural disasters, public health emergencies, terrorism and related activities, conflict or mass acts of violence”

I can personally report that something is brewing in the tech world, not just with Google but with all of the tech companies that I work with to produce my daily newsletter, who are clamping down in ways I’ve never experienced before, to the point where I have a strange sense that after this month, I could be banned from the internet on the basis of some new, international “best practices” that are being rolled out by all the tech companies, that goes way beyond the mass de-platforming and algorithmic censorship that I’ve already been dealing with for the past 9 years.

The WEF is meeting again and even though they have done a great job of destabilizing the world and of pushing us to the brink of world war, the top item on their list of potential risks in the coming year is Free Speech, which they call “misinformation and disinformation.”

This is war – and not just war – world war.
