This short film demonstrates the unacceptable impacts of the Belo Sun mega-mine, planned for the Amazonian Xingu River region currently being ravaged by Brazil’s Belo Monte dam. Belo Sun expects to imminently receive its environmental license for Brazil’s largest gold mine.
The mine could be built a mere 10 km from the dam and steps away from indigenous communities, who will suffer the worst impacts of Belo Sun’s unsustainable mining practices.
