Radcon readings of 2, 3 and 4 show the direction of where the NORM background radiation is going.
When the levels are show up on the map, then the NORM background radiation is rising within the 3-month time period. If the Radcon 1 (green) shows up, then the radiation has leveled off or decreasing, as is currently the case in Japan.
What’s odd, is that it appears that CPM levels are rising throughout the North American West Coast now, even though RADCON 5 warnings are not being issued.
Is this because RADCON 5 reports are ONLY issued when a 3-month high is reached?
It seems that extremely high levels of radiation are consistently being reached on the West Coast now WITHOUT RADCON 5 alert being issued.
