As the U.K. becomes more and more crowded — and environmentalists get more and more upset — smaller cars seem to make more and more sense. BBC has some small commercial cars to show off.
Forty years ago cars used to be even smaller. The Peel P50 was the smallest production car ever. One presenter is going to attempt to drive it to work. Built on the Isle of Man in the early ’60s people joked that it was cheaper than walking, at 100 miles per gallon.
