Both at five months old, Tala and Lil’ Bear scrap through the gift shop of Woodland Zoo. Destiny’s original plan for Lil’ Bear was for him to enter the care of a trainer who would take him to movie stardom. But the trainer stalled, and so the bear stayed at the Farmington, Penn. zoo and became friends with a wolf cub. This footage comes courtesy of Dennis Crossland, a volunteer at the now-defunct zoo.
Late last year on his YouTube channel, Crossland said Tala and ‘Lil Bear are “still alive and well…although I don’t see them anymore as they live far away from me but I get occasional reports on them.â€
