The Mythbusters were bothered by the ad campaigns of the Jurassic Period, depicting a crystal wine glass being shattered by a famous singer. The glass was always placed directly in front of a large loudspeaker. That didn’t seem fair.
They set about to prove it, once and for all.
It’s quite amazing to witness how incredibly distorted the glass becomes before the goblet finally shatters.
