Geophysics seems to me to be this totally overlooked topic in the arena of cocktail party banter. At least the parties I go to . . .
Hundreds of millions of years have seen earth’s transformation from having one large continent into seven separate. But the signs of this transformation are still plainly evident today just from looking at a map; all the pieces seem to fit together as if a puzzle that’s been pulled apart.
Even more fascinatingly we can even get a good idea of what the future will hold: All of the continents will eventually merge together once more, a New Pangaea.
It is hard to see how a video discussing “plate tectonics” can in any way affect “Red Bull” beverages, and their business, sales, or financial prospects, but somehow a copyright strike still took it down. Our entire body of “intellectual property” law obviously cries out for drastic reforms and limitations, if not outright repeal!
It is important for producers to have rights to their material protected, but reviewers, observers, and critics need OUR rights protected too. First Amendment, anybody?
