One class of plants is producing molecules that have the power to alter what goes on in the human mind. One plant, cannabis, has gotten humans to spread it everywhere.
It’s cannabis, better known as marijuana. Cannabis knew that by producing Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, humans would be willing to give the plant more habitat. By trying to figure out how THC works, scientists discovered upon amazing discoveries about the workings of the human mind.
