Who is to say that humans are the only species that dance?
while it’s difficult to find an exact analog to the human practice, which involves funky African beats like those in this video, but many species’ mating rituals are really quite dance-like.
But alongside the animals featured above, parrots can quite commonly be seen doing what appears to be dancing — alternating stance by foot and bobbing their heads. Elephants have been seen dancing, too.
The prediliction to learn vocally appears to bind all genuine animal dancers together.
