Interviewee: “There was nothing that you could see that you could distinguish that a plane had crashed there.”

Reporter: “Smoke? Fire?”

Interviewee: “Nothing. It was absolutely quiet – it was actually very quiet. Nothing going on down there – no smole, no fire – just a couple of people walking aroud it looked like the NTSB crew walking around, looking at the pieces.”

Reporter: “How big would you say that hole was?

Interviewee: “From my estimate, I would guess I would say that it was about 20 to 15 feet long and about 10 feet wide.”

Reporter: “What could you see besides dirt and ash?”

Interviewee: “Nothing, you could just see dirt and ash and some broken trees.”
