Ah! The joyous lulz of Google’s new Terms of Service!

Here’s an example of the advertising dollars that Google is giving away to cable channels, like truTV.

‘Adam Ruins Everything’ used to be a fixture of the YouTube channel, CollegeHumor but has now found a home on “real” TV, albeit sanitized, it’s true.

I could certainly do without the G-man worship, in the cartoon featured here.

Still, such a segment as “Why The TSA Doesn’t Stop Terrorist Attacks”, would today not likely be monetizable by Google-YouTube, yet it’s already aired to at least 3M people in the US, paid for by the bigger bucks commanded by Basic Cable.

How’s that working out for ya, Google?

Let freedom ring!

PS:
Bruce Schneier, like my dear friend, John Perry Barlow (Co-Founder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation), is a Fellow at the BERKMAN Center for Internet & Society (not Beckman), at Harvard Law School.

The hapless Millennials producing this show probably have brain damage from too many anti-depressants mercilessly shoved down their throats by their misguided parents and doctors. Hopefully, they’ll detox, someday).
