Hoffenberg (1925-2022) was a former Jewish crook said to have repented of his life of crime after serving 18 years in prison for running a ponzi scheme under a collection agency front. At the height of his power he also owned the New York Post. Epstein had bilked him and it may have been what led to Hoffenberg’s fall. One report claimed he had come to Christ as part of his repentance.

B, like Leslie Wexner was his boss, I would not take it so literally like Epsteain answered to him, but that he was employed by him as a tax mechanic or a connection man who knew how to make conncetions. Boss in this context I think is meant to show a simple employment relaltionship.
