This is a comedy animation of a game show about social media and how to direct-message someone you don’t personally know but whom you admire. It uses the hit 1990s competition show, American Gladiators as a comical device.
This piece was created by adults who were toddlers when American Gladiators was on TV and who have been on social media since they were children.
I thought it was important to show the cultural sensibilities of those who are products of all of the above.
