@official-ellie-may: President Trump, as a supporter who voted for you three times, I am hoping and praying that you will revisit what Barack Obama and Joe Biden got rid of, back in 2013, which is the Smith-Mundt Act, which held news corporations accountable for lying to the American People and spreading propaganda instead of truth.

Back in 1948, President Harry S Truman signed the Smith-Mundt Act into law, a Cold War-era move to counter Soviet propaganda with a global charm offensive.
The State Department was tasked with painting a picture of the US as the “Land of the Free”, sending students, scholars, and professionals overseas to build bridges and showcase our way of life.

John Bowne: But here’s the caveat that continues to fly under the radar when it comes to the Smith-Mundt Act. The Act explicitly banned government-produced materials from being distributed domestically. Why? To protect the American people from being fed state propaganda and to keep the domestic media industry from getting steamrolled by the whims of lobbyists and the madness of politicians.
And more importantly, but apparently not a concern at the time, to protect the First Amendment rights and organic consensus from an intelligence department swaying Americans toward total mind control and rapid decline.
Truman had signed the National Security Act of 1947 into law, which had also created the CIA. Truman created a monster. But the Smith-Mundt Act was a leash, whether they knew it or not.
The Modernization allowed the State Department and the Broadcasting Board of Governors, now rebranded as the US Agency for Global Media, to make their foreign-targeted materials, like videos, audio, and films, available inside the US upon request, including through FOIA demands and online platforms.
But the floodgates had been opened, and the safeguards are now as flimsy as a paper wall in a hurricane.

American vs US Government – C’mon Alexandra…how many breadcrumbs do you need?
The US Government was created by the American Government using service contracts known as Constitutions.
The US Government was literally hired under contract to provide us with essential government services.
The American Government was founded in 1776.
It took three years for the American Government to define and organize the US Government, 1787 to 1790.
That does not mean that we disappeared once that job was done.
We didn’t vanish. We have continued to live our lives under The Declaration of Independence and the “Law of Nature and Nature’s God” .
Our Federal Subcontractors running the US Government began living under the Federal Constitutions and exercising the delegated powers we entrusted to them — and all was well until the “American Civil War” — which wasn’t a war.
The American Civil “War” was an illegal Mercenary Conflict and it resulted in an illegal occupation by Mercenary Forces — well disguised as our own troops — that lasted 165 years.
That is what has gone on here. In a nutshell.
And as far as the American Government goes, to paraphrase Mark Twain, “Rumors of (our) death have been greatly exaggerated.”
There are now over 500 native nations and 50 nation-states all peaceably living together.
The only wars since 1814 have been Mercenary Conflicts, also known as “wars for profit”, promoted by the US Government.
Not the American Government.
95% of all the ugly things falsely attributed to “America” should be attributed to our British Territorial and Roman Municipal “Federal” Subcontractors, instead.
So next time you hear people trashing “America” stop a moment and think. The American Government has been at peace since 1814.
We, the People, are not guilty of all the warring for profit. We are not the ones supporting colonialism and bullying people. We have no dreams of Empire— that’s the Brits among us.
