World War III is a frightening concept, difficult for many people to wrap their minds around.
The build-up to it has been going on for some time. The war is already under way. It will be up to historians to define that moment.
If the United States wins, those historians will blame China or whoever deals the retaliatory blow.
If the United States doesn’t win, it will be marked as the invasion of Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria.
