This is the mainstream view of how cancer works.
Cancer is 100 diseases characterized by uncontrolled cell growth. In healthy bodies cells grow, die and are replaced.
But cancer cells are immortal. Why? Environmental or internal factors can damage the genetic material in cells.
Disastrously some of these cancer cells can make their way into the blood stream, go elsewhere and make new colonies. It’s the leading cause of death for people under 85.
