It almost looks like a scene from science-fiction thriller “Minority Report.” Police are set to begin marking pedestrians with a red light.
Police say it’s the last “advancement” in pre-crime. These light-based intervention systems will be attached to existing surveillance cameras and can shoot a beam from a block.
If police see a crime about to happen, they say they plan to bathe a would-be perpetrator in light.
