Dan Nocera has always been interested in solar fuels and sunlight. When we found out how to use the sunlight to split water, that’s when we learned how to exploit photosynthesis.
If we can store the sun in terms of a fuel, when the sun goes down, we can still “use” the sun.
Over recent years, government subsidies to companies such as Nocera’s have largely expanded.
