Rockefeller’s toxic waste he needed to dispose of) fought tooth and nail to see who would be fueling our cars. And then Rockefeller played seriously dirty — by funding Prohibition.
The Women’s Christian Temperance Movement was given the equivalent of $400 million in today’s money to lobby (i.e., bribe) Congress to pass the Prohibition Amendment to the Constitution.
And that’s how it happened.
