An ancient tomb in the Valley of the Kings demonstrates the first known time that the elaborate Egyptian burial rituals, extended only to royalty — and then usually only to men — were offered to a woman: an ancient pop star.
To correct this ABC report, Ms. Bastet’s tomb is actually 3,000 years old.
