Congresswoman Luna tells Steve Bannon that she thinks Yoel Roth was lying to her and that he perjured himself during her line of questioning during Wednesday’s House Oversight Committee hearing.

“If they can lie to a member of Congress, we have to make sure we can hold them accountable. They didn’t expect us to have that angle [referring to the detailed flowchart showing how the different federal agencies and NGOs ordered Twitter’s censorship], I can tell you that much and when we brought it up, when you look at the footage of their faces, you can see that they started sweating. You can see that every single one of them jumped on their phone and started texting their attorney, at that point.”

During the hearing, Luna had accused all of the former Twitter executives present of violating what she called “Joint State Actors”, or 42 USC §1983, which is derived from the Civil Rights Act of 1871 and holds private parties liable when they deprive plaintiffs of their rights – in this case, the First Amendment – while engaging in “quasi-governmental activities”.

  • It is interesting that FBI are not being grilled over this situation. Hopefully they are next. I doubt that Twitter employees had to take an oath to the Constitution in order to work there. Yes, they sold out, but I hope the agents in ALL of the agencies involved in this subterfuge are next. They are far more culpable. Still, It might give pause to more order-followers than a flaccid bunch of has-been, laid-off Twitter ex-employees.
