James O’Keefe delivered remarks this morning at Project Veritas to Staff, before clearing his desk: “I’ve been removed from CEO and Board.”

This video was sent to The Gateway Pundit from a former donor who said he will not donate to Project Veritas again unless they bring back James O’Keefe.

James says, “I need to make clear that I have not resigned from the company that I founded. I was stripped of my position as CEO and Chairman of the board of Project Veritas. I do not know why the board took these actions, why they released untrue statements about my status while I was on mandated leave, nor why they chose this timing to act. I will continue my work as a journalist.”

O’Keefe said that on February 10th, he was indefinitely suspended from the board of directors during a meeting. By this time, they had also stripped him of authority as CEO.

It is very curious that he was removed in the middle of the most-viewed story they’ve ever done.

“So what changed in the last three weeks?” O’Keefe asks in the video. “The only thing that has changed is that we broke the biggest story in our organization’s history during the last week of January in 2023. With 50+ million views, our video became a global phenomenon – it was about Pfizer and one of their directors discussing mutating the COVID virus.

“Our confrontation video, where he locked me in a pizza restaurant in Brooklyn, called the cops, and smashed our equipment also became a phenomenon and was riveting television for audiences glued to their screens, where tens of millions more shared that video.

“Outlets in India and China covered the story and our social media exploded like never before. Our employees and board members’ Twitter accounts also exploded with new followers after the story.

“Pfizer even put out a non-denial denial, where they basically admitted they were mutating the virus, albeit Pfizer buried this admission in the legalese jargon of an official corporate statement. Still, it was extraordinary Pfizer responded to our story with an admission!

“THAT – is the only thing that has changed. Then suddenly, an unusual emergency happened just a few days after the story…

“I can’t be a CEO with no authority and without a position on the board, I wasn’t sure if I even had a role left at Project Veritas. I’m not sure what my job here is…

“Five days later, on February 15th, a statement was put out saying ‘James has not been removed from Project Veritas… James is the hardest working person I’ve ever met.’ Those who know him well know he will not take time off unless forced to…

“I was asked to be gone until the 20th — it is now the 20th. I asked the board to resign for their conduct, but they did not. So currently, I have no position at PV based on the board’s actions.

“So, I’m announcing to you all that today – on President’s day — I’m packing up my personal effects from headquarters, and I’m intending to start anew…I don’t have answers to why they’ve been doing what they’ve been doing, or why board members were going directly to employees to collect a list of grievances on the week of our biggest story ever. Or why our board members were going to employees directly to discuss removing me from Project Veritas – on the same week of our biggest story of all time…

“I’m confident those reasons and motivations will come to light. To borrow an old expression, the public has a right to know the motivation for seeking out these grievances about me, and why there was a concerted effort to remove myself from Project Veritas in the same week of the biggest story we had ever broke.”

It seems obvious that members of the Board were bribed by Pfizer to remove the Founder of Project Veritas, James O’Keefe, whose name is synonymous with his organization.

However, for their part, Project Veritas’ Board released the following statement after removing James O’Keefe and Losing over 100,000 followers and likely most donors:

“Today, James O’Keefe decided to remove his belongings from Project Veritas headquarters. The Board and Management made numerous attempts in the last 14 days to have a conversation with James, but he ignored our outreach and decided to instead leak private information to others, either by doing so himself or by proxy…

“Although PV Leadership has not concluded looking into the full scale of financial issues over the years, a preliminary review at this time indicates that James has spent an excessive amount of donor funds in the last three years on personal luxuries. More is still being uncovered during the ongoing review at this time. Contrary to many reports from today, James was suspended indefinitely pending the resolution of a fulsome investigation and clarity which will need to be provided by a third party investigative audit report…

“James also left us no choice but to suspend him in the last few weeks when he unilaterally fired the CFO, who can only be fired with Board approval. That is a violation of our non-profit’s bylaws. James went as far as to say that a Board member had approved this firing to others, but it was later discovered that it was not the case. That member did not approve the firing. The Board approved James’ suspension so it would have time to properly investigate these internal infractions.”

    • Sounds like to me James was the moral fiber that held together that company. I predict this month is the turning point for Project Veritas, never the same, now destined to fail. May Karma be their worst enemy.

    • “This story shall the good man tell his son…”

O’Keefe is a showman, if nothing else.

I looked up the source of the “we happy few” quote O’Keefe spoke towards the end of his exchange with his staff.

      Shakespeare.
      Henry V.
“St. Crispin’s Day speech”, given to his men before the Battle of Agincourt…

      St Crispin’s Day Speech

The St Crispin’s Day speech is a part of William Shakespeare’s history play Henry V, Act IV Scene iii(3) 18–67. On the eve of the Battle of Agincourt, which fell on Saint Crispin’s Day, Henry V urges his men, who were vastly outnumbered by the French, to imagine the glory and immortality that will be theirs if they are victorious.

      Have a look.
Powerful stuff from a different age:

“By Jove, I am not covetous for gold,
      Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;
      It yearns me not if men my garments wear;
Such outward things dwell not in my desires.
But if it be a sin to covet honour,
I am the most offending soul alive.”

    • Good for him to remove himself from the corrupt board.

Is this similar case to Steve Jobs getting kicked out of his own company? I hope not, as Steve himself wasn’t a great guy (A great guy would not have created an ultimate spying device – iPhone).

      • That’s actually a good reminder.
You noticed they never questioned about existence of virus?
You are being reasonable by questioning their purpose.

    • One thing I’m very certain of is that some members of the board members now have very healthy offshore accounts.

    • Where james goes I go. This was the biggest mistake Project Veritas could make. I know I can trust James and now I know I can’t trust YOU

    • Wow, the full weight of the federal govt and DOD to keep mouths shut. Pharma just did what it was forced to do, the board got one option. They have all the dirt they need to shut down PV and JOK by owning the board and donors
