This is Jim Carrey on ‘In Living Color’, which was a weekly comedy show with an almost all-black cast on Fox TV in the 1990s, before the latter network was re-branded as a “conservative” network, full of blondes with inch-thick make-up and a news department headed up by the despicable and grotesque Roger Ailes, who cheerleaded America into the Iraq War.
Fox was so much cooler, back then – but so was everything, in that pre-9/11 reality.
Maybe, by watching this, we can become keenly aware of just how much of our laughter and our freedoms have been robbed from us since 2001.
