Gravitational Waves A Three Minute Guide

Almost a century after Einstein predicted the existence of gravitational waves, we find out the establishment view of what they are, and how scientists are searching for them, in this Nature Video.

The Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory (LIGO) was recently completed. It consists of twin observatories, which measure any distortions in spacetime by tracking the answer waves reflected back from split laser beams shining down 4 kilometer vacuum tube tracks.

One is located in Hanford, Washington State and the other, in Livingston, Louisiana. Both will have to record the same signal at the same time, in order for the signal to be considered valid.

Wal Thornhill of the Thunderbolts Project, which fosters the non-Big Bang, non-Einsteinian theory of Plasma Cosmology aka the “Electric Universe” model, systematically demolishes the recent hullabaloo made by “official” cosmologists, that gravitational waves had been “discovered.”

He chalks this announcement to fundraising efforts. I’d add that the Powers That Be don’t really want people to know how gravity works, at all.
