Facebook has canceled its system for flagging “fake news” stories after finding that it increased their credibility and had the *opposite* of the intended effect of dissuading people from reading them or convincing them of their inauthenticity!
The system was put in place shortly after Donald Trump’s upset Presidential win and following an uproar from the DNC and its allies relating to their failure to control all narratives.
