One part of U.S. military leaders’ visit to observe the cutting-edge Aurora stealth bomber was to scrutinize the revolutionary, top-secret plane’s cloaking device. Even in the band of reflected, visible light, this made this plane — or ships or even entire airfields — completely invisible. It also worked in the radar waveband.
The technology wasn’t just associated with the Aurora bomber. It could be applied to all sorts of objects.
