It’s amazing that this company wanted to reference George Orwell’s 1984 in this commercial. The manufacturer brags that the product, when placed up to one’s teeth, can funnel music “directly into your brain.”

What’s strange is that it would seem that the music-to-mind funneling technology would in fact be used by the conformist gray shirts — not the “radical” plastic consumer who’s “thinking outside the box” or whatever.
