This British newsreel describes its search for one of the most elusive men on earth, L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology. They found him on his organization’s ship with 250 people.
But the others were no ordinary seamen. They had total devotion to Hubbard, their “commodore” and spiritual leader.
Hubband was a showman able to convince people to leave behind their families, train themselves with weapons and in the martial arts. Apparently he also had the power to make his followers forget about his own failed marriage.
