‘The Brussels Business’ is a feature-length docu-thriller by Friedrich Moser and Matthieu Lietaert about the EU’s lack of transparency and the influence of special interests on the decision-making process in Brussels.
The film is an expedition into the world of the 15,000 lobbyists, the PR-conglomerates, the think tanks and their all-encompassing networks of power – and their close ties to the political elites.
It also underlines the instrumental role of the European Roundtable of Industrialists in the making of the European Single Market, as well as the construction of the European Services Forum, a core actor in the structuring of the service industry lobbying in Brussels.
