Daszak is a Polish name in origin. Western Ukraine was under Polish rule for a few centuries, so naturally there is a mix between Polish and Ukrainian people over that time. BTW, same is true for Nina Jankowicz, Mary Poppins of Biden’s Disinformation Board. She claims to speak Ukrainian and was posted in Kiyv (how?). There are many modern young Ukrainians who speak Polish, but almost zero chances the other way around. So presumption can be drawn, that she is of Ukrainian ethnicity as well. I would pick trail from there.
