Here’s a hilarious TEDTalk parody video made by CBC about the formula that gives TED’s ‘thought leaders’ their gravitas, through the smoke and mirrors of rehearsed theatrics, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and media production.
TED long ago lost any credibility for me, after they censored the talks of both Graham Hancock and Rupert Sheldrake, two men whose work I hold in very high regard.
Presenting themselves as these trailblazers of big ideas, TED are the gatekeepers of the Reservation.
Lame..
Yo on TED, though TEDx comes through sometimes…
KELLY&KELLY… damned irreverent Canadians, illustrating how I’ve often felt after being at mostly pedantic presentations.
That was excellent A, I agree about their censoring of Hancock and Sheldrake.
Keep them coming girl!!
Yep. Ditto on the “lost all credibility” with me because of the Hancock/Sheldrake censorship. TEDTV is a closed box of ideas and thoughts.
Yep, I feel just the same.
