This is a great animation about how 53% of US Tax Dollars finance the American War Machine.
So, the next time you hear that medical benefits need to be cut for children of laid-off workers, or that supplemental unemployment funds are running out or the next time you hear that extra funds for the local school need to be cut or that Social Security funds need to be cut back or that we need to push back the retirement age to 70, the next time you hear that your local Post Office needs to be shut down, due to lack of funds, the next time you hear that Medicaid needs to be reduced, think about that extra 53% of your Tax Payment that’s going to finance the largest war machine the world has ever known. And that’s the truth.
