I ran a story about this emerging technology three years ago and it was one of the most popular videos in this site’s history.

The great news, is that this idea has come very far, in the intervening years!

Roadways constructed of hexagonal, modular, replaceable units have mainly been impractical, thus far, because the pace of the development of solar cellular technology keeps outstripping itself, year after year.

This is a a very forward-thinking way to provide roads and electricity at the same time – AND to provide freedom from coal-fired- and nuclear energy plants, for the distribution of electricity to people’s homes and businesses.

I hope to live to see this model implemented, in my lifetime!
