FOXNEWS reported on Tuesday that a Federal investigator requesting anonymity found 44,053 emails and 17,761 attachments originally sent between DNC leaders from January 2015 to May 2016 and which were supplied by DNC staffer, Seth Rich to London-based WikiLeaks Director and American journalist, Gavin MacFadyen.
Rich was shot twice in the back last July in an upscale neighborhood, with no evidence of theft in what the DC police have been calling a "botched robbery." This occurred just days before these emails were published by WikiLeaks. The recipient of these emails, MacFadyen also died abruptly on October 22, 2016 from a fast-acting cancer.
Former DC homicide detective Rod Wheeler told FOXNEWS' Lou Dobbs that he strongly believed in the likelihood that WikiLeaks' source for the DNC leaks was Seth Rich. He noted that DC Police use body cameras as standard procedure but that none of these videos has emerged.
WikiLeaks associate, human rights activist and former British Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Craig Murray last December claimed that he'd received leaked Clinton campaign emails from a “disgusted” Democratic whistleblower, after flying to Washington for a clandestine handoff near American University with one of the email sources last September. This, while the Obama White House continued to blame Russian hackers for meddling in the presidential election.
“Neither of [the leaks] came from the Russians," said Murray. "The source had legal access to the information. The documents came from inside leaks, not hacks.” Murray said the leakers were motivated by “disgust at the corruption of the Clinton Foundation and the tilting of the primary election playing field against Bernie Sanders.”
For their part, Seth Rich's parents [appear very eager to avoid their son's fate and] have basically said that even if one email comes out with Seth as a source, it could easily have been faked [not true, if tested forensically]. Through their spokesman, Brad Bauman, a well-known DNC crisis manager, they say that conspiracy theorists will stop at nothing to try to prove their son's involvement with the DNC leaks.
