Will Quigg, Grand Dragon of the California chapter of the Ku Klux Klan states, here that the Klan endorses Hillary Clinton and anonymously donated $20,000 to her 2016 presidential campaign.
“She is friends with the Klan. A lot of people don’t realize that,” says Quigg with a smile. “All that stuff she’s saying now, she’s saying so she can get into office, OK?…Once she’s into [sic] the office, she’ll implement her policies. She’s a Democrat. The Klan has always been a Democratic organization.”
For their part, the Clinton campaign has rejected the endorsement and denies receiving donations.
The journalists who made this video have to ask, “Is this just an elaborate ploy to hurt Clinton and help Trump in the election?”
Quigg continues, apparently inebriated, “I could care less about Donald Trump. He’s a millionaire. He’s a businessman. He’s not a politician. He couldn’t run this country more than he could run a county. For the KKK, Hillary Clinton is our choice.”
If this guy is actually promoting Trump in the familiar Neo-Con sideways manner it would surprise me. Would give Mr. Quigg and his sympathizers too much credit. Though the entire statement is ripe with possibility. Oh! Mel Brooks and Cleavon Little, where are you when we need you?
