This is a promotional video released 6 months ago for the new Just Walk Out technology, that shows a flagship location at a Hudson News Kiosk at Dallas Love Field Airport.
As of December 2022, Just Walk Out is being rolled out by Whole Foods/Amazon, where consumers can enter a store using one of 3 methods:
1) Amazon One, a contactless identity service that uses your palm to pay
2) credit or debit card
3) A cellphone app
All of the input options allow Just Walk Out technology to identify which account entered the store, and then charge for items when consumers exit with items, as the WiFi scans the customers’ products.
