“This is called the CFA franc. It is the colonial currency that France prints for 14 African nations, to which it applies seigniorage and by virtue of which it exploits the resources of these nations.
“This is a child who works in a gold mine in Burkina Faso. Burkina Faso is one of the poorest nations in the world but it has gold. France prints colonial money for Burkina Faso and in return, they demand that 50% of everything that Burkina Faso exports ends up in the coffers of the French Treasury.
“The gold that this child goes down a tunnel to extract mostly ends up in the coffers of the French state.
“So the solution is not to take the Africans and bring them to Europe. The solution is to free Africa from certain Europeans who exploit it and allow these people to live off of what they have.”

Ha! This EU-supporter really thinks things are that simple? that simply stopping something will magically get rid of the migrant issue? Well, no. The problem of Burkina Faso & the rest isn't just France 'colonialism'. It's African corruption. How you think China controls so much of African resources? Despite UK and maybe Italy govts ALLOWING this migrant mess (they aren't refugees) the Africans came from places where their own people don't give a damn. Others will still want to go to Europe. What about the migrants from Italy's good friends the Arabs, from Middle east & North Africa? What her magic solution for that? Please. France offered UK a quick solution to process migrants so that UK could easily reject them & prevent hordes at hotels, where they harass women. UK CONSERVATIVE govt rejected them.
