This Friday report from Mahyar Tousi, an Iranian refugee in Britain has more footage of what’s happening on the ground in Iran than you will see anywhere else. Tousi says that the Islamic Republic has lost control across the country, with government buildings on fire, police stations taken over, IRGC bases captured and members of the Basij security forces detained by civilians.
The Fake News has been mostly silent about the historic escalation of protests in Iran, suggesting that their masters are on the side of the theocratic regime. For example, last Monday, CNN.com reported about the initial protests when Iran’s currency crashed to a record low against the US dollar, causing their Central Bank governor to resign – but after that, crickets.
It took President Trump going into Beast Mode early Friday morning, posting that the US would come to the rescue of the Iranian people if the Regime killed any protestors to get CNN to breathe another word about Iran after a 4-day hiatus, when they reported that “no major changes” have been made to troop preparations in the Middle East.
As Tom Luongo recently pointed out, Trump’s Beast Mode is pure “strategic misdirection” and we see that now, with the US strikes on Venezuela taking out the Chavista Regime.
Meanwhile, Iranian shopkeepers are mobilizing a general strike, which is how the Seditious Feds have been planning to overthrow the Trump administration in their Zoom calls. The response of the Islamic Republic suggests that it has become seriously weakened since the surgical strikes by Israel and US last June.
Following Trump’s post, Iran’s crown prince in exile, Reza Pahlavi thanked Trump and began giving direct instructions to the Iranian people, urging them to:
“Go within small, cohesive groups of friends and family members, to the nearest street in your neighborhood, find one another, and then, hand in hand, move toward the central streets of the city.
“I say with confidence that once a flood of millions takes shape, the regime’s forces of repression will not be able to stand their ground. Many will retreat, and some will join the people.”
About 30 minutes into the livestream, Tousi takes questions from viewers, one of whom questions the idea of returning to a monarchy in Iran and he expresses his view and that of those who support Reza Pahlavi that:
“You can’t just have dictators running the country. You need people to elect their politicians. Democracy is the only way to do it. And the best way to protect democracy from being taken over by a bunch of tyrants is to make sure that the head of state is not political…The head of state should be the checks and balances and the safety net, constitutionally. The head of state will be protecting the constitution. The head of government, of course, that should be elected. And it’s the job of the people to elect someone for that. But the head of state will have to keep checks and balances.”
