News from the Ritz-Carlton in Riyadh has been very quiet since several dozen powerful Saudi Princes were detained there on November 6th. I don’t know about you but I’ve been desperate to get a peek inside and this is the closest I’ve gotten so far.

I saw this when you first posted it, and saved it to pass on to my many on-line Saudi Arabian (KSA) English Language students. I came back to see if there were any further developments. I may have sent you a video about a huge court-case currently underway where a very rich Saudi man is charged with many crimes.
Today is the last day of Ramadan, so we can expect things in Arabia to start moving in the next few days. June 24th Saudi ladies will be allowed to drive. Most males are dreading it. Expect fireworks in Arabia very soon.

Have you ever been to circus? In between main events the “clowns” are sent in to entertain and distract the audience. To my mind the Saudi’s are simply the clowns … a distraction meant to keep people focused on “nothing” while behind the scenes preparations are being made for the next “something”.
