According to a report by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis improperly hired an alleged romantic partner (who is married) to prosecute Donald Trump and financially benefited from their relationship, according to a court motion filed Monday which argued the criminal charges in the case were unconstitutional.
The bombshell public filing on behalf of Trump co-defendant, Michael Roman alleges that Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade paid for lavish vacations that he took with Willis using the $654,000 in Fulton County funds his law firm has received since January 2022.
The filing seeks to dismiss the charges against Michael Roman and for Willis, Wade and the entire DA’s office to be disqualified from further prosecution of the case.
