The Internet is rife with this rumor - and there is actually seismic evidence of a nuclear explosion having taken place 600 miles off the South Carolina coast, this past October 7, 2013, which registered 4.5 on the Richter scale, in an area with no known previous natural seismic activity.
Here, we see two versions of this story, the first perpetrated by Gordon Duff regards "anti-government", "rogue elements" of the US Air Force, who were part of a fanatical cult, said to be intent upon fulfilling the prophecy of Armageddon - and somehow, stopped - it is not specifically said how.
The second version, alleged to be circulating from the Kremlin, after being leaked to Putin by US Generals and repeated here by former Senior Counsel for the World Bank, Karen Hudes, in which it is claimed that it was Obama who was the culprit, in ordering a nuclear strike on Charleston, South Carolina, for the purpose of generating chaos and martial law.
It has been alleged elsewhere that Generals Gurganus and Sturdevant were tasked with leading US Marine troops from Camp Lejeune in North Carolina to begin the implementation of martial law after this false flag attack had taken place.
The top commanders are said to have refused to follow his orders therefore, saving the lives of some 300,000,000 Americans - for which US Navy Vice Admiral Tim Giardina and US Air Force Major General Michael Carey, and two of the US Marines top officers, Major General Charles M. Gurganus and Major General Gregg A. Sturdevant were promptly relieved of duty by the Commander-in-Chief for their heroic non-compliance of his orders.

ALL we know for sure is that there was a significant seismic event in a location with no history of earthquakes. We live in such a gigantic secret society that what we can take away from this is that we can no longer trust the media, the government - or even members of the alternative media to tell us the truth.
